After doing some initial research into PTSD relating to mental health I wanted to do more visual research looking at some inspiration which i could refer to when it comes to think about my own poster ensign illustration. All images gathered were sourced from Pinterest and explained a couple of themes from just PTSD in many forms to illness, specifically being cancer.
I feel all have their own special feel and particularly love their use of colour, as although they are darker subjects they all use brighter toned colours almost to show their is positivity amongst the darkness. This is themes that i do want to relate within my own work as although i want the viewer to really feel how serious the subject is, I want the target audience to feel this sense of hope. And therefore relate to the idea of using the posters to create a solution.
Moving forward I would love to look specifically at some example poster campaigns see how designers have tackled them in real life circumstances. And how affective their different graphic elements have been.
