Print experimentation- PTSD Poster project

 

After doing some visual sketches regarding ideas i wanted to play around with some media experimentation playing around with different techniques that i could potentially use within my poster project and perhaps add some depth to the initial digital design. 

I therefore decided to cut some elements from my initial ideas. so on this page of printings i included a cloud, rain drops and pills. All of these are elements for idea i want to use within my drawing. For example one of my designs includes a cloud full of elements that are related to chemotherapy and treatment to create this idea of cloud of ptsd. I really wanted to do this as a print to see if i could create some texture that could perhaps be transferred digitally to layer on top of simplistic colour. 

Some weren’t as smooth as others however, i think in a way they were a happy accident as the texture really works and could be digitally scanned in and then used as  texture to be layered and clip masked on top. 

To create these i used craft foam and cut shapes out to create sharper edges that were easier and quicker to make. I feel these are rather successful and would definitely works for the overall vibe that i am going for.
