Artist research response

 Here shows my response to Lucy Fleming research. For my response I wanted to capture a unique composition and focus in on the idea of bruising and it being a main symptom for cancer. It was fun experimenting with this image as i really wanted to bring that sketchy textured filled look like Fleming uses in her own work. To do this i made sure to use a thinner pencil brush digitally and really just let my linework loose. It was nice to add this different sort of texture from what I am use to. 

Overall, I am really happy with this response, i feel it is super effective and would love to carry on playing with this style for my actual book.
